4. Advocacy & Awareness
We don’t just help—we speak up.
- Child protection & rights campaigns
- Community education on abuse, health & equity
- Partnerships with local authorities to shape better policies
Our Goal
To provide durable, comfortable, and weather-appropriate school shoes to every child in need across LASG primary schools in our community.
Why It Matters
- Barefoot children are more vulnerable to injuries, infections, and disease.
- Kids with proper shoes are more likely to attend school regularly.
- Something as simple as a pair of shoes can restore a child’s confidence and sense of pride.
What We Provide
- High-quality, locally made school shoes
- Socks and basic foot care hygiene kits (based on funding)
- Distribution events in partnership with schools and local leaders
Impact Target (Phase 1)
- 5000 pairs of shoes to be distributed in the next 6 months
- Focus on orphans, vulnerable children, and those from low-income families
“One Meal Per Day” Special Project
“Because learning on an empty stomach is almost impossible.”Why It Matters
The Reality
For many children in our target communities, the only guaranteed meal they receive is not at home – it’s from school, or the community if at all.
Hunger affects their focus, attendance, and even their mental and physical development.
Our Mission
To provide one nutritious meal per school day for children in LASG primary schools — starting with the most vulnerable schools in Lagos Mainland, AND vulnerable women in the community unable to afford one meal a day.
What’s in the Meal?
We work with local food vendors to serve:
- Balanced, hot meals rich in protein, vitamins, and energy
- Locally sourced ingredients to support community farmers and vendors
- Menu diversity to prevent food fatigue and meet nutritional needs
Community Involvement:
- Meals cooked and served by trained local women (providing employment)
- Monitored in partnership with school authorities and healthcare staff
- Real-time feedback from children and teachers to improve quality
Impact Target (Pilot Phase):
- 200 children fed daily for an entire school term (first phase)
- 100 women fed daily for one month per phase
- Expand to more schools as donations and partnerships grow
